Today I began some basic strength training to go along with my running. This is a really important factor that can get missed when you’re so focused on doing cardio to train. Now I AM NOT AN EXPERT, but I have done mini training before and this strength training was a key factor in my success.
I did three rounds of the following (not accurately depicted in the video)
25 Jumping Jacks
10 Push-Ups
10 Body Squats
30 Second Planks
10 Bridges
That’s it, no fancy gym member ship needed. I hope to interview a trainer friend of mine a couple of times so that she can give her expertise, because she’s the bomb.
